Srinagar, Dec 11 (KNO): BJP's Rashtriya Muslim Manch (RMM) Friday asserted that no one could snatch away jobs and properties from the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the way some families have done over the past seven decades. Addressing a press conference here, RMM National President, Maulana Suhaib Qasmi asked people to repose their faith in BJP leadership and come out in large numbers to support the party in the ongoing District Development Council (DDC) Election. Accompanied by RMM Convener J&K unit, Mir Nazir Ahmad, Qasmi according to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said Jammu and Kashmir was earlier represented by few selected families including that of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti who he alleged always played politics of ‘deception’. He said the BJP government wants to generate employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir without eyeing on their jobs and properties the way some families have done over the past seven decades. “Why should BJP snatch jobs and properties from the people of Jammu and Kashmir? We want to generate employment opportunities here. We don’t play politics of deception the way some families have done over the past seven decades,” he added. Qasmi said Mufti and Abdullah families used to marry their children in foreign countries as they don’t like them to be married in Kashmir. He said that Mufti’s and Abdullah’s have always betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their own political benefits. The RMM leader said the growing popularity of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has frustrated NC and PDP and that these two parties leave no moment spared to malign BJP to be in power again. He said BJP has always been averse to corruption and corrupt and goes all out against those who indulge in malpractice—(KNO)
